The family of a businessman murdered outside of Costco Business Center last year wants adult justice for the teenage alleged shooter.
On Tuesday, the family and friends of Ali Elbanna joined together outside the Henry Wade Juvenile Justice Center, according to NBCDFW. There, an adult certification was set to take place but rescheduled for July.
The 16-year-old shooter could face tougher sentencing if he stands trial as an adult.
In November, Elbanna was shot after a robbery at the Costco Business Center on 8282 Park Lane.
Three other teens were involved in the robbery, and two are facing capital murder and aggravated robbery charges. The fourth teen was in the getaway car and faces aggravated robbery charges.
