Suzanne Dale at Artistik Edge Hair Salon
Your kids may know Suzanne Dale as their favorite substitute teacher at Merriman Park Elementary. Over the next 8 weeks, you can check out her colorful paintings at Artistik Edge Hair Studio.
Dale came late to the painting biz. On a lark, she signed up for a two-hour evening class taught by local legend Jane Cross at the Lake Highlands North Recreation Center. Dale had a ball and received compliments on her creation, so she returned every Wednesday over the next year and painted in her free time. She took a break to care for her aging father but took painting up again last fall. After an abstract expressionism workshop in Austin, she’s ready to show and sell her creations.
Dale’s paintings will be featured at the Lake Highlands Town Center salon, along with their giftable hair care products, fragrant candles and fun greeting cards. Stop in and say hello to owner Terri Hoover and her team.
