The fun begins with a 5K race on a certified course, followed by a Family Fun Run. The free outdoor festival features KidZone activities, live music and an art show.

Camp Sweeney helps children with Type I Diabetes learn to test blood sugars, make healthy diet choices and administer shots of insulin. For diabetic kids, experiencing the joys of “away camp” would be impossible with the medical supervision provided by Sweeney counselors.

Runners may register for the race online here. The festival will be set up from 9 to noon. You may donate to the camp here or sponsor a diabetic camper here. Lake Highlands North Park is at 9344 Church Road across from Lake Highlands High School.
