Update (Jan. 11): Emmett J. Conrad High School’s drumline will not be at the grand opening, contrary to what was previously reported.
Salata, a made-to-order salad restaurant, is hosting a grand opening soon for its Medallion Center location.
Housed in the former Fish Bone Grill, Salata is already serving customers. However, at the grand opening celebration scheduled for Jan. 12, neighbors will have an opportunity to support a local charity.
Salata will donate 15% of all sales that day to East Lake Pet Orphanage, an animal shelter based in Lake Highlands.
Guests will also have the opportunity to build their own succulents and sample house-made dressings.
The location at 6464 E. Northwest Highway is the 91st for Salata.
