A woman was transported to a local hospital after a shooting near the intersection of Abrams Road and Forest Lane Friday morning.
According to the Dallas Police Department, police responded to a call in the 9300 block of Forest Lane at approximately 6:30 a.m. In their preliminary investigation, police found that a woman had been shot at the location.Â
The woman was transported to an unnamed local hospital in unknown condition. Police were unable to provide further details at this time.
The incident is now part of an ongoing investigation.Â
