It will take place at the Lake Highlands Village Shopping Center parking lot from 5-7 p.m. on Oct. 31.

The event is a safe way for kids to participate on Halloween. Participants are encouraged to decorate their car, wear costumes and hand out candy.

Event organizers are inviting any families, individuals, businesses or organizations to distribute candy, which must be provided by the participant, to the kids and families.

There will also be a coolest car contest. Judges will choose the car with the most creative theme and decorations.
