Update: The property at 12000 Greenville Ave will remain a city-owned asset.
The Office of Homelessness Solutions will hold a meeting at Lake Highlands North Recreation Center to discuss homelessness issues in District 10.
Neighbors are invited to attend the public discussion from 7 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21.
A few weeks ago, the Housing and Homelessness Committee and council members reopened talks on the property at 12000 Greenville Ave, where a “reset” of the 13-acre property was discussed.
The site was once planned to be used for the urban farm City of Refuge until plans were put on hold in November. Now, new ideas and plans for the site will be discussed.
