Vickery Meadow Youth Foundation has opened applications for its Eagle Scholars summer internship program for college sophomores and above.
College students will have the opportunity to work with middle and high school students in Vickery Meadow and help them prepare for college. The Eagle Scholars program lasts eight weeks, Monday through Friday, from Jun. 6 – Jul. 29.
During those eight weeks, interns duties with Eagle Scholars include the following:
- Lead career-oriented, project based learning activities

Encourage Scholars by talking about their experiences in college and help them prepare for college

Participate in weekly field trips and help expose Scholars to new opportunities
The internship is paid and interns must apply with CitySquare AmeriCorps for training and qualifications. They receive both a living stipend and education stipend.
