That’s right, that one favorite iced or frozen adult beverage is having its day in the spotlight today. It’s National Margarita Day, but it also happens to be “Twosday.”
Here are a few places to celebrate the big day and go margarita wild. But don’t get too crazy with it.
Home of the frozen margarita machine, Mariano’s Hacienda is serving the original frozen margarita at half price from 4 p.m. – 9 p.m.
This Lake Highlands restaurant has house rocks-frozen margaritas and flavored margaritas. Some of the flavors include peach, strawberry and mango.
There’s a margarita of the month every month, so ask a server for more details. Margaritas come frozen or on the rocks and there’s also a gran abuelito which is the original margarita with an extra kick.
With an option of 24 oz. and 32 oz., Fuzzy’s Taco Shop has margaritas frozen and on the rocks.
The restaurant has rotating seasonal margaritas, but there’s also the $9 Resident margarita. Hours are 7 a.m. – 9 p.m., but don’t go looking for an early morning margarita.
The margarita special at Chili’s for the national day include $3 house margs, $5 marg of the month, $6 presidentes and $7 premium margaritas. The special is all day.
Margaritas are $2 and range from strawberry to lime and other flavors.
