Staff and students across the district will get a brief break this week as inclement weather is expected.
RISD made an announcement that schools will be closed Thursday and Friday due to winter weather concerns and dangerous road conditions.
Events for this evening are also canceled.
A decision for making up these days will be made in March, according to the district.
