And anyone who needs a two-bedroom could be seeing prices increase by nearly a third.

The average rent for a two-bedroom apartment is $2,414, according to a recent report from Rent.com.

That’s up 31.34% in December compared to the previous year.

Only nine other U.S. cities saw greater price increases:

  1. Jacksonville, FL (+44.8 percent)
  2. Albuquerque, NM (+41.3 percent)
  3. Hialeah, FL (+41.1 percent)
  4. Glendale, AZ (+37.4 percent)
  5. Mesa, AZ (+35.5 percent)
  6. Orlando, FL (+33.0 percent)
  7. Jersey City, NJ (+32.3 percent)
  8. Lexington, KY (+31.8 percent)
  9. Little Rock, AR (+31.5 percent)
  10. Dallas, TX (+31.2 percent)

Meanwhile, apartment occupancy is at an all-time high in the United States.
