And anyone who needs a two-bedroom could be seeing prices increase by nearly a third.
The average rent for a two-bedroom apartment is $2,414, according to a recent report from Rent.com.
That’s up 31.34% in December compared to the previous year.
Only nine other U.S. cities saw greater price increases:
- Jacksonville, FL (+44.8 percent)
- Albuquerque, NM (+41.3 percent)
- Hialeah, FL (+41.1 percent)
- Glendale, AZ (+37.4 percent)
- Mesa, AZ (+35.5 percent)
