Construction has started up at the northeast corner of Walnut Hill Lane and Skillman Street to build Lenox Lake Highlands, a multifamily community that will have 403-units.

The development announced that it broke ground July 22 and expects to open up in mid-2022 as part of the mixed-use Town Center.

Lenox is being built on a 16.7-acre property purchased by developers OHT Partners, previously known as Oden Hughes, late last year. Five acres of the site are zoned for residential and commercial uses that will be built out in a second phase addition, developers shared.

When finished, the multifamily community will provide access to the Lake Highlands Dallas Area Rapid Transit station along Walnut Hill Lane. The Lake Highlands Trail will also be extended to connect to Lenox and White Rock Creek Trail by 2023, a release shared.

The development will offer one- two- and three-bedroom units, ranging from 600 to 1,640 square-feet. Amenities will include a collaborative work studio, three pools, a dog run and dog washing station and a 24-hour fitness studio with a fitness on demand room, per the release.
