On Friday nights each fall, standout players make a little magic on the gridiron and entire communities come together to cheer them on. The Dallas Morning News’ Greg Riddle says Lake Highlands has just such a “breakout star” in senior quarterback Caden Dotson.
Dotson replaces Mitch Coulson, who ran for 20 touchdowns and threw for 11 during the Wildcats’ 10-1 season in 2020. Dotson, instead, is a traditional passer, completing 61% of attempts and scoring 6 touchdowns as LHHS’ backup last year.
The News previously recognized senior Noelle Whitehead, returning at running back, as a “player to watch.” Whitehead earned 1,557 yards and 20 touchdowns last season. Go Cats!
