Dallas City Lacrosse has opened up team membership to Lake Highlands girl players for the first time.

The nonprofit organization committed to growing lacrosse in the city has previously offered membership to Dallas ISD players. For its Spring 2021 team, girls who are in kindergarten through 2nd grade and live in Lake Highlands or DISD can join.

The team practices and plays home games at Glencoe Park in Dallas. The Spring season will run from mid-February through early May. Practices are on Saturday mornings at from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.

Dallas City Lacrosse is offering a free, no commitment “onboarding” skills clinic on Feb. 20 at Glencoe Park. This will provide girls unfamiliar with the sport the opportunity to try it and meet the coaches. The only equipment required is a stick, but they will be provided if girls do not have one. To join, sign up here.
