Bigtime college football is nothing new to the ‘Dettes.

Two years ago, the Wildcat drill team participated in the first-ever College Football Playoff National Championship at AT&T Stadium. There, they greeted guests and passed out gift cards benefitting the DonorsChoose.org program.

This time, with the girls involved in such a picture-perfect photo-opp, the ‘Dettes are likely to garner plenty of news coverage and make it into lots of photos on social media. It’s not clear, though, if we will catch them on TV. The national anthem is scheduled for 11:40 a.m., but ESPN national television coverage doesn’t begin until 11:50.

As of Sunday night, the undefeated Western Michigan Broncos were a 7.5 point underdog, predicted to lose to the Wisconsin Badgers. Go Cats, go ‘Dettes!
