Been needing to add some spice to your diet? DiMassi’s recently opened its third location in the metroplex, and its 12th in the state, nearĀ our neighborhood at 5500 Greenville Ave.
The Houston-based restaurant chain is famous for its Middle Eastern-inspired day-long buffets. You can expect big flavors like eggplant baked withĀ pomegranate molasses, but with a lighter, moreĀ Mediterranean flair, as seen in their wide variety ofĀ salad offerings. In addition to the buffets Sunday-Thursday from 11 a.m.-9 p.m., and Friday-Saturday from 11 a.m.-10 p.m., the restaurant also offers catering for groups of 10-50.Ā Prices are $11.99 for lunch, $12.99 for dinner and that includes a non-alcoholicĀ beverageĀ and dessert.
The restaurant companyĀ was first launched in 1992, and has continued to add locations since then, including successful shops in Irving and Richardson, as well as San Antonio and Austin. The Greenville site used to house Another Broken Egg, which consolidated its Dallas presence in Casa Linda on Buckner Boulevard.
