Lake Highlands neighbors were surprised this weekend with a pop-up performance by Grammy Award-winning artist and Lake Highlands native Annie Clark, better known professionally as St. Vincent.

From 2-3 p.m. on Saturday, Clark performed a surprise DJ set in front of Resident Taqueria from a truck bed. Wondering what brought her by? Clark’s brother-in-law, Andrew Savoie, is the owner-chef of Resident Taqueria. It’s also not the first time she’s stopped by – Clark helped serve tacos after Resident opened in 2015.Â
All profits from the show were donated to Feed Lake Highlands.
The Lake Highlands High School graduate has been nominated for four Grammy Awards for her latest album, All Born Screaming, released earlier this year. She has previously won three Grammy Awards.
