On Wednesday, Dec. 18 at about 2:30 p.m, Dallas Police responded to a multi-vehicle crash at Whitehurst Drive and Abrams Road, police say. In the course of their initial investigation, officers determined that three vehicles had been involved in the crash. There were no major injuries, police say.

The Dallas Police Department takes a proactive approach to the enforcement of traffic laws in our city.” DPD wrote in a statement to the Advocate. “We are working more locations, more initiatives, more school zones, more complaint locations, and having measurable success. But, even with success, we can always do more, have more visibility, and hold more enforcement periods.”

Video from neighbors appears to show a silver/gray sedan on Forest Meadow Middle School’s property shortly after the incident.

Last week, another multi-vehicle crash left two dead only hundreds of feet from the scene of Wednesday’s crash. Neighbors have started a petition for increased traffic enforcement on the road, and District 10 Council Member Kathy Stewart has said she has been in contact with DPD.
