From City of Dallas officials:

The City of Dallas has closed some streets due to flooding as the National Weather Service predicts additional rainfall of three to six inches across north Texas, with a few areas potentially receiving up to 12 inches of rain.
The City is preparing for potential flash flooding through Saturday night and into early Sunday morning, when the weather is expected to clear. Barricades are in place the following streets, which are closed due to flooding:
1600 Tantor
1100 Luna
1600 Luna
7400 Merriman Parkway between Abrams and Fair Oaks
4900 West Lawther Drive at Goforth Road
400 W. Ledbetter between Village Fair and Parkwood
Crews are monitoring these locations and other low points in the city to ensure barricades are in place when needed.
Although flash flooding is the primary threat, a few severe thunderstorms are possible, with hail and wind gusts up to 60 miles per hour. Main impacts are expected to be in the smaller creeks/streams to the main rivers. Flash flooding along small streams and urban areas (especially low lying and construction zones) remains high.
City crews are monitoring these locations and other low points in the city to ensure barricades are in place when needed. They remind residents: When you come to a flooded road, walkway, or path, follow this simple rule: Turn around don’t drown.
