Primo Bros. — to which you pizza-consuming Advocate readers bestowed coveted title, Best Pizza, Lake Highlands — is offering a new pie each month featuring the best ideas in pizza, sauce and toppings from cultures around the world. This month? Punjabi pizza — generally, this is an Indian-style pie topped with an array of veggies and spices. Primo owner-operators Luan and Mirlinda Vraniqi are known and loved around Lake Highlands, for their delectable fare, undying dedication to above-par service, gregarious personalities and frequent contributions to neighborhood causes — schools, community improvement, that sort of thing. 3. Nazca’s panko crusted whole avocado
Earlier this month, Nazca Kitchen introduced its panko crusted whole avocado. Stuffed with a blend of seafood, topped with a house made cheese sauce and served on a bed of rice. It is garnished with a fresh butter-leaf jicama salad.

3. Mi Cocina Lake Highlands’ Tortilla Crusted Salmon
New to the menu: Tortilla crusted salmon. Delicious, seared salmon fillet with a crispy corn tortilla and Habana seasoning crust is served over seasonal vegetables slow-simmered in a pasilla chile sauce, topped with a rich, spicy mushroom cream.
