Construction has begun on a project to reconstruct the shoreline around Mockingbird Point and should be complete in about two weeks. In the meantime, that portion of the White Rock Creek Trail will remain closed. The above map outlines the detours available for trail users.

In March, the $1 million dog park renovation will begin, so the park will be closed nine months for construction. The project, which includes a new lakeside “dog launch,” will increase the size of the park by about one acre, improve drainage and yield 45 new trees.
