The Wildcat baseball team hosts their District opener Tuesday night against Berkner, coming after a strong showing at the South Grand Prairie Tournament. The Cats went 4-1 over the weekend and have a pre-season record of 8-3.
Tuesday night’s game, like all games played at The Cat, has free admission and food cooked with love by baseball parents.
While at the game, you can purchase a raffle ticket for the chance to win an iPad, 40-inch HDTV or a basket of Wildcat gear signed by the team. Perhaps the biggest draw in the raffle, though, is the chance to be an honorary bat boy in the March 28 away game against J.J. Pearce. Raffle tickets are $10 each or 6 for $50.
The varsity game begins at 7 and the JV plays at 4:30. The season schedule is available here.
The Wildcat softball team plays Richardson away Tuesday, but is back at home after Spring Break. Their schedule is available here.
