Young Life summer camp for high school aged students and WyldLife camp for the junior high set are life-changing experiences for many. This year, more than 300 kids are hoping to attend, but not all are financially able. Would-be campers are selling flowers to help defray enrollment costs, and it’s a great way to beautify the neighborhood while you send a kid to camp.
The order form, available here, has 56 products ranging from $10 pots of geraniums to $19 flats of begonias, impatiens, petunias and a wide range of bright spring colors. Orders are due by March 29, and if you don’t have a specific YL student you’re trying to support, you can contribute to the general fund. The flowers are high quality plants from Ruibal’s, and you can see photos in their 2013 spring color guide, available here.
You’ll pick up your flowers Saturday, April 6 between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. at North Highlands Bible Church, 9626 Church Road, as the Young Life mentors deliver your order right to your car. Easy, breezy, lemon-squeezy.
