The real estate market in Lake Highlands is blowing and going – remodelers are doing a brisk business and nearly every house seems to have a “project” in the works. Longtime LH resident Brent Gardner says that’s why this is the perfect time to open his new business – Junk King Dallas.
“We do garage clean outs for homeowners, office clean outs for property managers, remodelers, real estate agents that need to have a home cleared or made ready for sale,” said Brent, “almost anyone can be a customer.”
“The resurgence of the real estate market in Lake Highlands does make it a wonderful target market for us.”
Brent is partnering with Renee Ferguson, known to some from her appearance on “Throwdown!” with Chef Bobby Flay and for her cookbook, “Talk Turkey to Me.” Renee has appeared on Oprah, NBC, QVC, FOX and others.
And, of course, Brent is known in Lake Highlands for the being the supportive spouse of Healing Hands Ministries founder, Janna. He’s also former president of Packaging Specialists, Inc. and founder of Innovative Packaging Solutions.
“Our goal is to recycle and/or repurpose up to 60% of all the things we collect,” Brent told me. “Our motto is ‘The Greenest Company in the Removal Business’, and our goal is to keep as much out of the landfill as possible.”
