WFAA and Chevrolet are giving away 20 thousand dollars to a Dallas nonprofit throughProject Green.

DME Exchange of Dallas — which collects, sanitizes and refurbishes used medical equipment, such as wheelchairs, walkers, bedside commodes, and mobility equipment as a means to “provide relief of pain and suffering for people with acute injury or illness” — is a finalist. Lake Highlands resident  Jim Waldorf is the nonprofit’s executive director.
