Lake Highlands quarterback Ricky Zorn capped a spectacular season by being named Co-MVP of District 9-5A. Zorn shared the honor with Skyline quarterback Javia Hall.
The rest of the all-district team, voted on by the district’s head coaches, was filled with Lake Highlands players. The Wildcats placed eight on the first team and eight on the second team. Another seven Wildcats were named honorable mention. Players who won individual awards, such as Zorn’s MVP honor, were not named to the first or second teams.
