#FBF: How RP Brooks (a.k.a. Merriman) Park came to be

We’re rich with great green spaces here in Lake Highlands. This weekend, we’ll celebrate the history of Hamilton Park and its newly restored pavilion. That got us thinking about other neighborhood parks.

Back in 2014, we offered a series highlighting historic photos of some of our most iconic recreational spaces, thanks to local historian Sally Rodriguez and the Dallas Municipal Archives. Check it out here, starting with RP Brooks (a.k.a. Merriman) Park.
