Nachos and drinks at Taco Joint
You’ve heard of Spirit Nights at neighborhood eateries for the Wranglers and the Highlandettes. Tonight, Taco Joint is hosting an event you can really wrap your brain around.
The Lake Highlands High School National Honor Society will receive a percentage of sales today/Wednesday from 3-9 p.m. when patrons dine in, carry out or enjoy tacos on the patio. Proceeds will support the NHS scholarship fund, which helps hard-working, high-achieving Wildcats attend college.
LHHS’ National Honor Society is the A. M. Anderson chapter, named in honor the man who served as the school’s first principal from 1960 to 1976. The organization recruits students in grades 10-12 who exhibit outstanding scholarship, service, leadership and character.
Taco Joint is located in Lakeridge Village, 9850 Walnut Hill.
