Signing Day for Wildcat Basketball, Roden, Umeh and Flowers
Spring Signing Day was a big one for the Wildcats this year, as 13 more Lake Highlands High seniors committed to play sports at the college level and continue their education.
Three basketball players will head off to three schools in Kansas: Ike Umeh will attend Bethel College in North Newton; Darius Roden will go to Garden City Community College in Garden City; and Langston Flowers will enroll at Hesston College in Hesston.
On the girls’ side, Grace Barrett will play basketball at Cincinnati Christian University.
Ismael Kone signed to run track at the University of Texas at Arlington.
Playing football will be Trae Johnson, Denzel Gulley and Christian Longoria at Wayland, Thomas Giddens and Carlos Sanchez at University of Mary Hardin Baylor, Ta’Moz Thomas and Christian Terry at Southwest Baptist University, and Carlos Ransom at Missouri Valley.
Congratulations, all.
