The good news is that Lake Highlands was mostly immune from the bad news. And there was plenty of bad news — average home sale prices fell in 18 of the 23 ZIP codes in the first five months of the year. Some of the drops were huge – 19.9 percent in 75225 in Preston Hollow; 20.4 percent in 75254 in Far North Dallas; and 26 percent in 75204 in East Dallas. Given what’s going on in the rest of the country and the Dallas–Fort Worth area, that’s not surprising.
