If you and your family are ready to “lighten up,” the Lake Highlands Highlandettes are now taking donations for their annual Garage Sale. The 50+ family sale, to be held Saturday, August 20th in the Wildcat Gym, will feature furniture, housewares, toys, electronics and – because most donors are Highlandettes – clothing, handbags and jewelry galore.

Early birds may shop the pre-sale Friday night from 8-10 p.m. for a donation of $5, otherwise admittance is free. You can also check out Lauren’s Lavish Boutique, named for new captain Lauren Brunkenhoefer, where you’ll find the really good stuff.

If you’d like your gently-used items picked up, contact Dette Moms Lee Ann Hamm at leeannhamm1@gmail.com or Christina Fox-Balli at javierballi@sbcglobal.net.
