Update: Lake Highlands was defeated 42-35.
The Wildcat football team is headed to the playoffs, and we’ve drawn an opponent we already defeated once this year.
LH will face Plano West this Friday at 7:30pm at Coppell’s Cowboys Stadium, 185 W. Parkway Blvd (LH will be on the visitor’s side). Tickets can be purchased at LHHS Friday morning 8:30-1:30 (adults are $6, students are $4), or at the stadium for $8.
When the Cats faced the Wolves the second week of the season, LH came out on top by a score of 34-19. Since then, West has been competing in 10-5A with the Plano, McKinney and Allen schools, while LH has been facing DISD and RISD opponents in 9-5A. We’ll see Friday which was the better preparation for battle.
Go Cats!
