Richardson Independent School District will provide free meals for children and families from May 27 through July 24 at various locations across the district.
Meal locations and serving times include:
- Richardson High School: May 29-June 12, breakfast from 8:15a.m. to 8:45 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Lake Highlands Middle School: May 28-June 12, breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. and lunch from 10 a.m. to noon.
- Dover Elementary: May 27-June 18, breakfast from 7:50 a.m. to 8:35 a.m. and lunch from 10 a.m. to noon.
- Skyview Elementary: May 27-June 18, breakfast from 7:50 a.m. to 8:35 a.m. and lunch from 10 a.m. to noon.
- Audelia Creek Elementary: May 27-June 18, breakfast from 7:50 a.m. to 8:35 a.m. and lunch from 10 a.m. to noon.
- RISD Academy: May 27-June 18, breakfast from 7:50 a.m. to 8:35 a.m. and lunch from 10 a.m. to noon.
- Carolyn Bukhair Elementary: May 27-June 5, breakfast from 8 a.m to 8:30 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m. to noon.
- Mark Twain Elementary: May 27-June 5, breakfast from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m. to noon.
- Northwood Hills Elementary: July 13-24, breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. with no lunch service.
The district noted that all meals must be eaten on campus and cannot be taken to go.
RISD has provided both English and Spanish resources for families interested in participating in the program.
