Philip Huang, John Williams, Stephen Krogh and other LHHS alums played with current band students at the Dallas County holiday celebration

When it’s time to safeguard the health and welfare of millions of local residents, Lake Highlands High School graduate Dr. Philip Huang is all business. He has served as director of the Dallas County Health and Human Services Department since February of 2019 — including those challenging Covid years — and he spends his days (and nights) conferring with colleagues to find strategies to keep neighbors healthy and safe.

Dr. Huang also knows how to party.

Huang (Trumpet, Class of 1978) joined John Williams (Trumpet, Class of 1976), Stephen Krogh (Horn, Class of 1977) and other Wildcat alums to perform Friday with members of the LHHS band at the Dallas County holiday celebration.

“Special thanks to (LHHS Band Director Aaron Singleton) for arranging the concert schedule so the current students could participate,” he shared on social media.
