Don’t forget to vote!

Today is Election Day, but don’t worry about looking up your precinct. Voters may cast ballots from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at any Dallas County voting location.

The address on your driver’s license isn’t required to match your current residence to vote, and your driver’s license may be used as voter ID for up to 4 years after expiration. Passports may also be used as voter ID.

Voters with mobility issues may vote from a vehicle. Simply call the number on the sandwich board in the election site parking lot or phone ahead to 469-627-8683 to notify the election day clerk you want to vote curbside.

Poll workers say one item is causing confusion, so keep this in mind: multiple unopposed candidates have been grouped together on the electronic ballot, and you’ll need to hit the “more” button and view all names before you hit the “next” button.
