Ballet North Texas’ upcoming Veterans Day weekend performance, called 22, pays tribute to veterans who have committed suicide.
The show is a combination of dance and storytelling presented in three parts— “Before”, “During” and “After”— and combines the personal stories, testimonials and interviews from veterans and their family and friends.
Attention is mainly brought to those who served in Iraq and Afghanistan but also post 9/11 veterans.
Natalie Anton, Nicolina Lawson, Cindy Michaels, and Mackenzie Jones each took part in choreographing the performance.
Shows start at 8 p.m. on Nov. 11-12 at Moody Performance Hall. Tickets can be purchased here.
