“I am honored to have been elected by my fellow trustees to serve another year as president of the RISD school board,” said Clardy. “I have so much respect for my fellow trustees, and I am humbled by their confidence in my leadership.”

Regina Harris, a resident of Hamilton Park and rep for single member district 4, was chosen to serve as vice president.

“I was truly honored to be elected vice president by my peers,” said Harris. “Last school year was challenging to say the least. We have a lot of work to do to help our students and staff get back on track and to make sure everyone is safe. I am ready to dive in as VP and get the work done.”

The board voted Debbie Renteria as secretary, Eric Eager as delegate to the Texas Association of School Boards and Chris Poteet, elected in May, as TASB alternate.
