Today is the last day to vote for LHHS football standout Christian Rhodes as Texas’s top returning high school running back for the 2025 football season

Rhodes, who committed to SMU in February, amassed 1,271 yards (8.6 YPC) and 14 touchdowns on the ground last season. The junior running back returns to Head Coach Cory Campbell’s district championship-winning squad next season and will play a large role in steering LHHS’ path to another postseason appearance.
Due to his exploits on the field, Rhodes has been nominated as one of Sports Illustrated’s top returning high school running backs in Texas. To vote for him as the top returning back, visit the SI website. Voting ends at midnight tonight.
Before committing to SMU, Rhodes received offers from Arizona, Miami, TCU, Arkansas and Ole Miss, among others.
