Update 5/20: Police have identified the suspect as Kyshawn Younger, 24, and the victim as 23-year-old Tyliauna Turner.
Dallas police are investigating a possible murder-suicide in north Lake Highlands after a Friday night shooting left two dead.
According to DPD, units responded to a shooting call in the 11600 block of Audelia Road at approximately 6 a.m. on May 9. In their preliminary investigation, officers determined that the suspect shot the victim before dying from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where they died, police say.
While a DPD release indicates that the involved individuals were known to each other, it also states the suspect’s identity has not been confirmed. The victim’s name was not released.
