Grace Church Lake Highlands is hosting a community shredding event this weekend to help neighbors keep their personal information secure.
Saturday’s shredding services are free.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 19, neighbors can bring their personal and business documents to Grace Church for a shredding event sponsored annually by Slater Real Estate Group. The church is also accepting old phones, laptops, monitors and other electronics for recycling.Â
In addition to shredding/recycling, The Family Place, a Dallas-based nonprofit which combats domestic violence, will be onsite collecting men’s, women’s and children’s clothing.
Grace Church Lake Highlands is located at 10101 Walnut Hill Lane.
