The Lake Highlands boys’ soccer team’s area round matchup against Plano West has been rescheduled due to inclement weather.
Severe storms struck parts of North Texas, including McKinney, where the game was to be hosted, last night, causing the game to be cancelled. The game is now scheduled to be played on March 26 at 7:30 p.m. and will still be held at McKinney Stadium. To learn more about McKinney ISD’s stadium policies, visit the district’s website. A blackout theme has been announced for Lake Highlands fans, according to a post on the team’s Instagram page.
The boys’ are coming off a commanding 3-1 victory over Arlington Martin. The winner of their next matchup will face off against Bell High School in the regional round.
The girls’ season came to an end last night with a 2-1 loss to Coppell.
