Dallas Police are investigating a homicide after a Sunday morning shooting left one dead near the intersection of Skillman Street and I-635.
Around 10:20 a.m. on Feb. 16, DPD officers responded to a shooting call in the 9200 block of Skillman Street, on the north side of I-635, police say. Responding units determined that one individual had been shot in their preliminary investigation. Dallas Fire-Rescue units responded, but the victim died at the scene, police say.
The name of the victim has not been released pending identification by the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s office.
