After spending the summer settling in at Lakeridge Village, Goldie’s is adding a weekday Happy Hour.

One of the neighborhood’s newest additions, Goldie’s opened in March with a fresh, upscale menu and an adventurous cocktail list. The interior is filled with shiny brass and velvet, and calls back to the romantic bar-lounges of the 50s and 60s. With a bar to match and a serious drink menu, the spot has practically been begging for Happy Hour since opening.

Now, it has been announced that neighborhood spot will finally add Happy Hour specials, available Tuesday through Friday.

What’s there to be happy about? $10 drinks and food.

From 4-6 p.m, neighbors can try some of Goldie’s house cocktails for $10. That makes drinks like the normally-$15 J.T., made with mezcal and limoncello, a little more accessible. If you’re an old soul or just prefer something to the point, select neat bourbons (Eagle Rare, Woodford Reserve, Jack Daniels Single Barrel, Michter’s) and martinis have also found their way down to the $10 mark, along with select glasses of wine.
A ten dollar note will also get you a à la carte burger, rotating crudite or popcorn shrimp. For $5, neighbors can grab some of Goldie’s “20 Feet” fries to snack on.  As the name suggests, the fries pay tribute to the beloved former Casa View seafood joint’s iconic herbed frites — although they are certainly more of a tasteful ode than a faithful recreation.
