After spending months on storm debris following May’s storms, Dallas Sanitation Services will resume regular brush and bulky item collection this month.
In the wake of devastating storms which rocked North Texas earlier this summer, the department temporarily suspended brush and bulky item collection. According to Sanitation Services, over 500,000 cubic yards of storm debris have been collected in the months following the May 28 storm.
The regular brush and bulky item collection schedule resumes this month. Most Lake Highlands neighborhoods fall into the Third or Fourth Monday collection zones. You can find out when your neighborhood is scheduled to receive a collection here.
Sanitation Services has also temporarily increased the limit for brush and bulky items from 10 to 30 cubic yards.
