Entering the DCT’s 41st season, the theater has announced five separate productions. The productions with show dates are as follows:

“Grace for President” — September 28-Oct. 20

“A Charlie Brown Christmas” — Nov. 23-Dec. 22

“Pete the Cat” — Jan. 25-Feb. 23.

“Dino-Light” — March 28-30.

“James and the Giant Peach” — April 19-May 24.

“James and the Giant Peach” and “A Charlie Brown Christmas” need no introduction. “Grace for President,” is a timely production just in time for a continuous election season. Based on a book by Kelly DiPucchio, the play is about a third-grade girl who, frustrated by lack of female U.S. Presidents, decides to run for class president.

“At DCT we believe in empowering young minds to explore experiences outside their own in an environment that fosters kindness and understanding,” said Samantha Turner, Executive Director at DCT in a press release. “A show like Grace for President invites young people into the electoral process in a way that is friendly, competitive and exciting. We also know that many of our families are multi- generational, some grandparents and parents saw James and the Giant Peach on our stage when they were young and now, they can experience it again with new eyes by bringing their own children and grandchildren.”
