Inexplicably, if the questions are being asked by a half-drunk person with a microphone and there’s zero real stakes involved, I love taking tests! Except this time we call it trivia.

If you’re interested in answering some questions without reliving your childhood, here are the neighborhood spots for it. All locations are free entry.

What can I go to have a drink?

Answer: Over Under, Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Located inside residential living community The Village, Over Under is a classic sports bar that hosts weekly trivia nights for both residents and anyone who’d like to join. The menu features standard American fare with a large selection of beer.

Where can I find movie trivia?

Answer: Alamo Drafthouse, Tuesdays from 7-9 p.m., Saturdays from 2-4 p.m.

Head straight to the back where you’ll find Vetted Well, Alamo Drafthouse Lake Highlands’ in-house bar. The questions are facilitated by pub trivia company Geeks Who Drink, and have a focus on movies and pop culture but do expand to general offerings.

Prizes are awarded during each of the eight rounds for free concessions and movie tickets.

Where can I get a coffee after?

Answer: Halcyon, Saturdays from 8:30-10:30 p.m.

Halcyon has a wide menu with a fully stocked coffee and cocktail bar. Saturday nights feature a competitive cast of regulars that may or may not feature the Advocate employee writing these very words.

The first place team is awarded a $20 Halcyon gift card, second place earns a $10.

Where can I go for big prizes?

Answer: Bar None, Wednesdays from 7-9 p.m.

This one is for the high rollers. Bar None offers $100 gift cards to the first place team, $25 for second and $10 for third.
