Richardson ISD
The Texas School Public Relations Association honored Richardson ISD’s strategy and engagement team with two Gold Star awards and 20 other awards.
During TSPRA’s annual conference last weekend, which included the Star Awards banquet, the organization recognized outstanding contributions in school communications. This includes individuals, school districts and education foundations.
RISD earned a Gold Award in the Best of Category for its “Calling All Retired Teachers” postcards and flyers. The district also received accolades for its RISD brand package, booklets, programs, postcards and posters.
Additionally, the team’s event portfolio for the Richardson ISD Prom garnered a “Crystal Commendation Certificate of Merit.”
This year marked a record for TSPRA with 1,850 entries. Awards included 42 Crystal Certificates of Merit, 128 Best of Categories, 1,060 Gold Star awards, 534 Silver Star awards, and 109 Bronze Stars.
Dallas ISD also won awards in media strategy, news briefing and press conferences among others.
