Tre Johnson, former Lake Highlands athlete and five-star guard has committed to Texas for the upcoming 2024-25 college basketball season.
Johnson was the No. 1 recruit in Texas and rated fourth-best player in the country in the class of 2024 by 247Sports before deciding to transfer to Link Academy, a top national prep school in Missouri, for his senior year. He led Lake Highlands to the Class 6A state title his junior year while averaging 21.8 points and 6.4 rebounds.
