Lake Highlands High School will face Prosper in round two of the football playoffs Friday. The game will be played at Melissa ISD’s Coach Kenny Deel Stadium.
The Wildcats won a nailbiter against South Grand Prairie 42-38 to become bi-district champions. The game was a back-and-forth battle, but LH dug in to avenge their loss to SGP in the first round last year. Quarterback Tripp Holley passed for 95 yards and three touchdowns, and running back Deonte Dean earned 281 yards and three touchdowns.
Kick off for Friday’s match is at 7 p.m., and tickets are available online here. The stadium is at 3030 Milrany Lane.
