The Lake Highlands Junior Women’s League’s Light up Lake Highlands is slated for Sunday.
The Lake Highlands Junior Women’s League is bringing back its annual Light Up The Highlands event on Nov. 26.
The free community event will have a big countdown to lighting up their Christmas tree, ice skating, a reindeer petting zoo, a snow luge, a Christmas market, bounce houses, local performances and pictures with Santa.
The event also hosts the Reverse Food Truck, which is a program of NorthPark Presbyterian Church that aims to lessen food insecurity in Dallas by gathering non-perishable and cash gifts for our neighborhood partners, such as Vickery Meadow Food Pantry. The church asks the community to bring food donations to the event, according to their website.
The event will take place at Lake Highlands Town Center, located at 7100 Wildcat Way.
